Abstract: Mechanics of Material is an important professional foundation course for engineering students. While the content of the course is wide-range, boring and abstract, a decline in interest for this course and also the decline in understanding of mechanics have been noticed in the teaching and learning activities. The traditional methods of teaching, which are mainly based on the theoretical interpretation, could not promote the interest of students in learning this kind of courses such as Material Mechanics, and then they cannot contribute enough to change this situation. To solve the problem, a so-called interest driven teaching method was herein presented. This paper sketches the characteristics of the interest driven teaching method. Taking Material Mechanics as an example, the learning problems and interest points of students in the course were extracted and summarized. A variety of strategies of promoting the learning interest of students has been put forward on the basis of practical teaching experience and verification. The presentation of the interest driven teaching method in the classroom has increased the interest of college students for learning Mechanics of Materials.

Abstract: With the constant development of social productive forces and science and technology, the demand for VR technology in various industries is growing day by day. More and more attention will be paid to the research of VR technology. However, the current research does not present a complete system of introducing virtual reality technology into the campus. Therefore, in this paper, image synthesis method was used to Capital Normal University, for example, to design and develop a (campus panoramic system) based on virtual reality campus panorama system so as to construct a complete system for others to learn from. The system can not only support computer-side transmission, but also it can spread the convenience of support for two-dimensional code push through the mobile terminal to bring intelligent navigation to users. Moreover, through seamless connection with VR glasses, immersive feeling can be enjoyed even though the users are not in it. In addition, it supports interactive testimonials. During the establishment of the system, UAV and GoPro and other related hardware is used for pre-material acquisition, Ptgui software is used for later panorama synthesis, as well as the Photoshop software which is used to make appropriate changes to the picture and color, and finally the works are uploaded to 720 cloud platform for dissemination and use. The system provides the overall ideas and steps to make a campus panoramic system for others to learn.

Abstract: Whatsoever the future, it will not be as visualized. The education development of 2018 is completely different from that of 1918, or of 1981, and imagining future situations is not consequently informal. The potential dreams become out-of-date faster than estimated. No one can tie a fixed configuration of the future. And such a situation either progressive or toxic, depends on its position in the world, and as well as the geopolitical and multicultural aspect - which world occurred to have as all live. The world today is global, soft, cybernetic and polycentric. The change from traditional mass media to a system of straight communication networks, controlled around the world via the Internet and wireless communication has certainly brought a change that became the foundation of essential progressive revolution. This article briefly discusses the use of modern technological developments and the concept of globalization for learning. In the first part, a brief introduction of the learning is discussed; the second and third parts briefly touch different methods of learning. How these methods are used for the learning process by a tutor has also been presented and demonstrated in this article. The result in each section of the article shows that among numerous teaching and learning strategies, only four are recommended for each tutor and learner.

Abstract: Study aim. In this paper I will argue and discuss a teaching process of fundamental design. When discussing initial instruction of basic tools for design thinking, I find it most appropriate to begin with a method that belongs to the world of art [1]. Method. In my experience, when studies are launched with planning-oriented thinking as their basis, it is far more difficult to subsequently adopt conceptual thinking. By contrast, when storytelling, poetics, and conceptualizations are introduced at the outset as the foundation of design work, the result is a stable infrastructure for subsequent development of planning-oriented thinking. These observations encouraged me to develop a joint freshman program for all design departments when I served as Dean of the Faculty of Design at the Holon Institute of Technology. Until then, departments conducted separate programs that began emphasizing their particular respective professional principles as early as the first year of each program. By contrast, the joint first-year program established students’ common foundation of theoretical conceptual thinking and initial design language tools of expression concerning line, composition, and form.
