Abstract: Light in a PANDA ring resonator system for coated and uncoated materials have been proposed and discussed. The input waves (lights) can be in the forms of soliton, Gaussian pulses, photon or matter wave. The trapped electron motion around the PANDA ring can also be generated, in which the matter wave concept is formed within the PANDA ring waveguide. From the results, we found that the whispering gallery mode (WGM) can be generated due to coupling effects of the two nonlinear side rings, which have shown many interesting results and aspects. We found that four behaviors of light, for instance, fast, slow, stopping and storing can be manipulated and seen simultaneously by PANDA ring planar waveguide, which can be fabricated and tested on-chip, which is also suitable to implement in the laboratory.Abstract: Light in a PANDA ring resonator system for coated and uncoated materials have been proposed and discussed. Abstract: The preparation of citizens for active living in the information society is important. This not only requires having proper equipment, but also knowledge, skills, and competences. In many sociological and pedagogical analyses, as well as reports from the National Statistical Office, there is no data concerning usage of e-services, ownership of equipment, etc. Furthermore, there are no indexes that extensively present this data. In this paper, the author proposes a synthetic indi-cator called the involvement index in the information society. In addition, the author presents the results of research con-ducted in politics, international relations, and internal safety with both full-time students and part-time students at Nicolaus Copernicus University in 2009 and 2012. The author uses the value of the involvement index in the information society in the research. The research results indicate that students do not look at their future through the prism of change in the information society, they do not think about themselves as teleworkers, and they do not perceive themselves as persons who often change job positions or who use the e-learning process upon completion of their studies. Reasons for this situation are surely not attributable to matters of infrastructure, as these parameters reach almost maximum value, but instead can be attributed to a lack of knowledge or habits. Hence, a general conclusion resulting from the study is a call for change in the learning formula for the subject of information technology not only at the primary and secondary school levels, but in higher education as well.Abstract: The preparation of citizens for active living in the information society is important. Abstract: This study aims at: Identifying the degree to which the teachers of gifted/ talented students (G/T teachers') possess the skills and knowledge approved by the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC). The study instruments were administered among the teachers of pioneer centers for gifted students; in addition to the teachers of resource rooms in the different governorates across Jordan. The study population consisted of (220) male and female teachers; whereas the study sample included only (100) male and female teachers operating in both the private and governmental schools and pioneer centers in all governorates of Jordan. The results of the study question indicate that the teachers enjoy a high degree of the concerned standards on the scale as a whole (the overall degree). The researcher pointed out in this study to the importance of taking care of the assessment and evaluation issues concerning the G/ T teachers; besides creating and developing specific measures that are especially designated to assess the competencies of the other categories' teachers within the private education field.Abstract: This study aims at: Identifying the degree to which the teachers of gifted/ talented students (G/T teachers') possess the skills and knowledge approved by the Council for Exceptional Children (CEC).
