Abstract: The Helicobacter infection was caused many diseases, and found in the liver tissue of primary liver cancer patients. Liver cancer was seriously dangerous of healthy, it confirmed that the correlation between liver cancer and multiple viruses, such as HBV and HCV, even include helicobacter. In this study, we explored the association between helicobacter and primary liver carcinoma. by searching relevant literature with database. The separated case-control studies on relationship between helicobacter infection and primary liver carcinoma were analyzed by Meta-analysis with Revman 5.0. 9 studies were included in the final analysis. Overall the prevalence of helicobacter infection was 52.53% (166 of 316) in case group vs 9.96% (23 of 231) in control group, and the summary odds ratio for the association of helicobacter infection with the risk for primary liver carcinoma (using the fixed-effects model, which accounted for the homogeneity across the 9 studies) was determined to be odds ratio 14.19 (95% CI, 7.92~15.14). Sensitivity analysis showed the results were no publication bias.the funnel plot was approximately standard symmetric, Failure safety number (Nfs) analysis: Calculate Nfs at P=0.05 level, Nfs 0.05=( Σ Z/1.64) 2-K=369.395, the large Nfs value also indicateed that there was no publication bias in the study. So the Meta-analysis demonstrated there was a positive association between helicobacter infection and the risk of primary liver carcinoma.

Abstract: Giant Cell Tumor of Bone (GCTB) is a common intermediate tumor, and the specific molecular mechanisms of this disease have not been fully elucidated. It exhibits strong heterogeneity in terms of targets, regulatory mechanisms, cell types, states, and subset distributions in the immune microenvironment. Traditional collective-level analyses cannot accurately reveal these differences. Single-cell sequencing technology is a technique that sequences the genome, transcriptome, and epigenome of diseases at the single-cell level. Single-cell sequencing can utilize a higher pixel resolution to reveal characteristic states of different cell subpopulations, contributing to broadening new perspectives for the study of GCTB heterogeneity. It holds significant value for the precise diagnosis of GCTB, identification of potential immunotherapy targets, and prognosis assessment. This study primarily reviews research related to GCTB, single-cell high-throughput sequencing technology, GCTB immune microenvironment, GCTB heterogeneity, and the construction of GCTB cell maps. It aims to provide theoretical reference for research on single-cell sequencing technology in GCTB and offers a theoretical basis for in-depth exploration of the mechanisms and treatment of GCTB.

Abstract: Background: Interleukin-17 (IL-17) is a cytokine pivotal in inflammation, autoimmune disorders, and cancer. This cytokine family comprises six members, including IL-17A to IL-17F, and five receptors, namely IL-17RA to IL-17RD and SEF. Several clinical studies have shown an increased expression of IL-17 in neoplastic disorders. Additionally, single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) can impact gene functions and protein expression, which can in turn affect cellular proliferation and ultimately increase the risk of developing cancer. IL17F rs763780 gene polymorphism is linked to an increased risk of several malignancies and immunological disorders. The present study investigated the association between IL17F rs763780 gene polymorphism and susceptibility, clinicopathological features, and prognosis in adult Egyptian patients with AML. Patients and method: 102 AML patients (68 males and 34 females) and 106 healthy individuals were genotyped for the IL17F rs763780 gene using a polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR–RFLP) assay. Results: Homozygous mutant GG genotype and G allele were significantly higher in AML patients than in the healthy control. However, no significant correlation was found between the gene polymorphism and disease characteristics or prognosis in different genotypes. Conclusion: mutant genotypes and alleles of the IL17F rs763780 gene polymorphism may be associated with an increased risk of AML among Egyptian patients.

Abstract: Introduction: Digestive cancers represent between 10 and 50% of all cancers and therefore occupy a preponderant place in digestive surgery departments. Our general objective was to study the epidemiological, anatomo-clinical and therapeutic aspects of cancers of the digestive tract at the Conakry University Hospital. Methodology: This was a retrospective descriptive study covering a period of 6 years, from January 1, 2014 to December 31, 2019. Result: the hospital prevalence of cancers of the digestive tract was 6.34% with a male predominance of 54% and a sex ratio of 1.17. The average age was 52.7 years with the extremes of 13 and 84 years and 57% resided in Conakry. Alcohol and tobacco are the most popular stimulants. The most frequent reasons for consultations were epigastralgia 64.31%, vomiting / nausea 44.11%, Stomach and colon cancers were the most represented, i.e. 40.07% and 30.30% respectively. The treatment was curative (surgery) in 85.19% of cases and the outcome was favorable in almost three quarters of cases, or 71.04% of cases. We have 71 registered death cases. Conclusion: Cancers of the digestive tract remain non-negligible in our country and that of the stomach is the most common. The hope lies in equipping structures with proximity and adequate infrastructure for diagnosis and with consequent therapeutic means (radiotherapy), as well as raising awareness of early diagnosis within the community.
