Evaluation of Modified Early Warning Score Combined with Procalcitonin and D-Dimer in the Early Diagnosis and Prognosis of Sepsis in the Elderly

Abstract: Objective To explore the value of modified early warning score (MEWS) combined with procalcitonin (PCT) and D-Dimer (D-D) in evaluating the condition and prognosis of elderly patients with sepsis. Methods A retrospective study was conducted to collect the data of elderly patients (aged ≥ 60 years) who were hospitalized in Shanghai Fifth rehabilitation hospital and diagnosed with sepsis from January 2016 to June 2020. The MEWS score at admission, PCT, D-D, sequential organ failure score (SOFA) within 24 hours and the 28 day prognosis were recorded. The patients were divided into groups according to the severity of the disease and the 28 day prognosis, and the index differences among the groups were compared; To analyze the prognostic value of the above indexes alone or in combination in elderly patients with sepsis. Results 105 patients were divided into sepsis group (75 cases) and septic shock group (30 cases); According to the 28 day prognosis, the patients were divided into survival group (71 cases) and death group (34 cases). The scores of MEWS, PCT, D-D and SOFA in septic shock group were significantly higher than those in sepsis group (all P < 0.05). The scores of MEWS, PCT, D-D and SOFA in the death group were significantly higher than those in the survival group (all P < 0.01). ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the ROC curve (AUC) of MEWS score, PCT, D-D, SOFA score and MEWS+PCT+D-D score were 0.662, 0.683, 0.626, 0.698 and 0.720 respectively, indicating that all indicators have a certain predictive value for the 28d prognosis of elderly patients with sepsis, and the combination of the three has the greatest predictive value. Conclusion MEWS score is a convenient and rapid scoring system. It can evaluate the condition and prognosis of elderly patients with sepsis together with PCT and D-D.

Abstract: Furnace slag is an inevitable by-product of the steelmaking process, and the reuse of furnace slag resources is also an international trend. We used blast furnace slag powder as the alkali excitation material in this study. The alkali-activated binder is mixed with coarse and fine aggregates to form alkali-activated concrete. To meet the high-flow performance of alkali-activated pozzolanic concrete (AAPC), added the plasticizer in a proportion of 1.25%. The concrete was well mixed using a fixed base modulus ratio (Ms), three different liquid-solid ratios (LS) of 0.45, 0.50, and 0.55, and three different normalities (N) of sodium silicate solution of 5%, 6%, and 7% and remained them in the atmosphere. At 7, 28, and 56 days of age, carrying out the engineering properties tests such as hardness, durability, and mechanical properties, and using microscopic to verify the test data. The results show that the slump of AAPC is 550mm to 650mm, which has a longer setting time than the general proportion of concrete, but it has better workability. The high liquid-solid (LS) ratio influences engineering properties significantly, confirming that the proper LS ratio and the normality can improve the hardening properties and durability of high-fluidity AAPC. When the LS ratio=0.45 and the N is 7%, the interface of the furnace slag can destroy through more sodium silicate solution, and the polymerization behavior can stimulate. At 28 days, the compressive strength can reach 29.8Mpa, and the initial ultrasonic wave speed reach more than 3000m/s, which can meet the needs of engineering use.

Abstract: Hongfanchi spring area is one of the most important areas of Jinan spring group, and the hydrochemical characteristics and material source mechanism are of great significance for the reasonable development and protection of the spring area. In this study, the water sampling sites were arranged in the typical spring water and the confluent surface water, and the contents of major ion geochemistry were analyzed. The research methods of such as: statistical analysis, Piper diagram, correlation analysis, cluster analysis, Gibbs diagram and mass conservation calculation were used to study the hydrochemical characteristics, and the source mechanism of major ion geochemistry in Hongfanchi spring area has been proposed for the first time. The results show that: the water in the Hongfanchi spring area were mainly with the hydrochemical type of HCO3·SO4-Ca; and the contents of K+, Na+, Mg2+, Cl-, F- in the spring water were much lower than that in the surface water, while the contents of Ca2+, SO42-, HCO3-, NO3- and TDS were obviously higher. The spring water was mainly affected by the carbonate weathering (62.91% - 73.10%) and the anthropogenic inputs (12.79% - 23.97%); while the surface water was affected by the carbonate weathering (36.03% - 60.91%), the evaporite dissolution (15.74% - 22.00%), the silicate weathering (11.28% - 16.81%) and the anthropogenic inputs (10.12% - 15.70%). The proportion of atmospheric inputs in both were very small.

Abstract: In super high-rise curtain wall buildings, the energy consumption of air conditioning and lighting accounts for 60%-80% of the total energy consumption. Under the hot and humid climate conditions in Guangzhou, due to the strong influence of solar radiation, the configuration of glass curtain wall and shading system has contradictions in cooling, heating energy consumption and indoor lighting and lighting energy consumption, and the optimal configuration of glass curtain wall and shading system has not been well resolved. The purpose of this paper is to use Design Builder simulation software to conduct a case study of a typical super high-rise office building in Guangzhou, and to discuss the parameters of different boundaries and envelope structures. The different configurations of the building are discussed, and the energy consumption impact of building shading facilities is analyzed, and three optimization types of curtain wall glass, three types of shading methods, and six types of energy-saving measures for the combination of glass curtain wall and shading are proposed. Provide guidance and advice for designers in the early design of glass curtain wall buildings in Guangzhou area. The research results show that the comprehensive energy consumption can be reduced by 2.99% when the curtain wall glass and sunshade are optimally combined, and the economy can be saved by 20.48 million yuan.

Abstract: Aiming at the problems of high cost, difficult implementation and low efficiency of preventing traffic accidents, this paper proposes a deep learning object detection algorithm based on yolov5, which realizes the detection of dangerous driving behavior. Firstly, the dangerous driving data set is labeled and segmented , and re-clustered by K-means method. Secondly, the Non-maximum suppression in yolov5 algorithm is optimized into full category Non-maximum suppression. Finally, the data set is put into the model for iterative training, and the optimal weight is taken. In the test set results, the average accuracy of this algorithm is 97.8%, the average detection time of each image is 8.1ms, and the model size is 13.7mb. Under the same data and experimental environment, this paper compares with the most common dangerous driving behavior detection algorithms such as SSD, yolov3 and yolov4. The results show that this algorithm is better than several common dangerous driving detection algorithms in accuracy, detection speed and model size. In the actual driving process, the algorithm applied in this paper can better meet the requirements of real-time detection and judgment accuracy. Because the model is smaller, the deployment cost in car is lower, and meets the actual requirements.

Abstract: Macau is a typical representative of the world's high-density cities and an important part of the world's cultural heritage. Therefore urban regeneration is a long-term issue in the construction and development of the Macau region. Since the return of Macau to China, it has been engaged in continuous practice and the construction of an urban renewal system in the areas of housing construction, historical and cultural heritage conservation and development, community renewal and renovation, and public participation. Based on the main policy documents of Macao, this study has applied a combination of literature search, case studies and inductive analysis to sort out the three stages of urban renewal development in the Macao region, and focuses on the changes made to Macau's current urban regeneration system in terms of urban regeneration concept, urban regeneration ideology, urban regeneration system and public participation system. Moreover, it analyse the implementation of the urban renewal system in Macao in the context of the urban renewal project of the Youhan seven buildings. Finally, it summarises the characteristics of the urban regeneration system in Macao and proposes the future direction of urban regeneration in the region. It is hoped that it can provide inspiration for optimising the urban renewal system in similar cities in the Mainland.

Abstract: In order to grasp the current situation of the indoor thermal environment in winter in Tongliao, Inner Mongolia, a representative dwelling was selected to conduct indoor and outdoor air temperature and humidity, solar radiation intensity, inner surface temperature of outer wall, kang surface temperature, flue outlet temperature and other thermal environment Parameter test, analysis based on temperature accumulation evaluation and PMV-PPD thermal evaluation system.the result shows:The thermal insulation performance of the external walls of residential buildings is poor, and the average radiation temperature is about 5°C lower than the air temperature, which is easy to cause cold radiation effects on the human body, and the indoor thermal comfort is low;The average temperature of the heated kang surface can reach 41.6°C, which is less safe;The temperature of the smoke outlet can reach up to 166.5°C, the heat loss is serious, and it is not used well;The average value of PMV of residents' vote on the predicted thermal sensation is -0.99, the predicted dissatisfaction percentage PPD is as high as 50%, and the indoor thermal environment needs to be improved.The conclusion can provide a basis for the improvement and sustainable development of the indoor thermal environment of farmers and herdsmen.

Abstract: Prefabricated building is a new type of building structure, that is, the residential building is built by industrial production mode. It is a building built by prefabricating some or all components of the building in the factory, then transporting them to the construction site, and assembling the components through special machinery.
