Abstract: The paper tries to critically expose Hans-Johann Glock’s What is Analytic Philosophy? In this work, Glock identifies the limitations within the geographical, linguistic, historical, methodological, metaphysical and normative oriented conceptions of analytic philosophy. By developing a comparison of analytic and continental philosophy, he shows that no strict criteria could be employed in order to make such a distinction. In return he emphasizes the idea of a family resemblance amongst different proponents and strands of thought within the analytic tradition. This family resemblance is used to explore whether or not there is an underlying thread that is manifested in the different orientations that are identified under analytic philosophy. By analyzing Glock’s conception of analytic philosophy, it will be argued that, the book successfully shows the limitations of conventional definitions of analytic philosophy, exposes the current attempt to equate scientism and logical positivism with analytic philosophy in general, and also demonstrates the relevance of the analytic tradition in today’s world where the need for analysis is more than ever required. It does not limit the significance of analytic philosophy to the analysis of language and shown how there is also an interest in metaphysical and epistemological considerations. Still, Glock also needs to further articulate his thesis of family resemblance, and show whether it constitutes an orientation, philosophical current or perspective within the analytic tradition.

Abstract: Summary: Half a century after the work of the prehistorian G. Camps on the “Iberomaurusian” site of Rachgoun, located on the northwest coast of Algeria, nothing has come to confirm, supplement or revisit the conclusions of this author, which still remain in force. In 2017, interest in this deposit was revived, with a view to relaunching prehistoric research in the Algerian north-west (Oran). In this contribution, we have approached the subject, from a geosystemic point of view, under the angle of geomorphology and Quaternary geology, to offer us guarantees of access to appropriate readings of Rachgoun's kjokkennmodding. Two morpho-sedimentary groups were identified (q1 4c and qD) and their connection with the classification frameworks in force, carried out. They are the expression of a Sicilian-Tyrrhenian geography, which ended with the development of a rhythmic phenomenon "sandstone-red silt dunes", witness to variations in sea level, in relation to the glacio- eustatism and neotectonics. Thus, the current landscape of the Rachgoun region is the expression of a recent geography, established in the Tyrrhenian, in a new morpho-sedimentary cycle, which will lead to a new configuration of the relief. In this chronostratigraphic framework, the prehistoric site of Rachgoun, previously qualified as Iberomaurusian (epipaleolithic), occupies the first part of the Holocene (early Rharbien), dated from C14 to 9430 and 9490 years BP. A chronological position which commands a new archaeological reading.

Abstract: The objective of this article is the critical analysis of the thought associated with the idea of the "post-truth era" from a Marxist perspective, considering economic, political, and ideological factors. The study was carried out through the inductive and deductive and historical-logical methods, expressed in the systematization of texts. The fundamental result was the identification of the epistemological gaps of the subject, which allowed to advance in the critique of the studied phenomenon. The central conclusion is that post-truth is a phenomenon with an absence of rigor and integrity, ideologically biased by supporters of deception, who respond to business models associated with manipulation, in a political context, in which the truth is defined from the predominant power relations of the international financial oligarchy. With the proliferation of thinking about the "post-truth era", an attempt is being made to build a mentally immobilized global society, an aspect based on the assumptions of the fourth generation war, which has as its axis the transnational monopoly power, economically, politically and ideologically. What we are dealing with is the manipulation of psychological factors that ignotize human consciousness, using the electronic-informatics revolution.

Confessing Jesus Christ in Cultural Context: The One-Sided Politics of COVID-19 Vaccination in Zimbabwe

Abstract: This article argues that confession of Jesus Christ in relation to COVID-19 vaccines is shaped in important ways by the existential cultural contexts of traditional medicines in Zimbabwe. In Africa health is grounded in and informed by religious and cultural practices that emerge from the values and beliefs held by particular communities or groups of people. The COVID-19 vaccine roll out towards herd immunity must be understood in particular historical and cultural context of the community of faith. COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy remains prevalent in Zimbabwe. Vaccination cannot succeed without taking seriously the social and cultural contexts of Christology. The presence of coronavirus in the midst of the community of faith is an assault on human dignity. It requires a clear Christological response in order to make Christianity meaningful and relevant to society. With mountains of unknowns about COVID-19 that even the epidemiologists and virologists are accepting, many Christians in the country are suffering from a religious civil war in the mind - the troubling conflict between Christian beliefs mediated by western cultural values or African traditional values. Christians are toying between sticking to their Western medical standards or stick to their trusted traditional medical practices. These conflicts do not only exist at a very theoretical level; they mean a constant series of practical coronavirus choices. The coronavirus pandemic brings with it serious theological issues for the Christian community of faith. If a Christian is sick as a result of coronavirus, should he/she go to the hospital, a traditional herbalist, or both? Should a Christian rely on traditional medicines or foreign medicines though there is vaccine politics between the West and East superpowers? The spread of coronavirus has been astoundingly rapid, complex and relentlessly killing people worldwide. In Zimbabwe, after managing the virus relatively well in its early stages, the second wave of new cases grew exponentially towards the end of July 2020. I maintain that the rejection of foreign vaccines went hand in hand with the trend to harness local resources to solve local problems and further Christ’s kingdom.

A definition on it, will be formulated by Dr. Caiceo scholar of this educational area publications, where he carried out an analysis of the history of this type of education development, since its inception in 1852 until 1980, dividing it into three long periods, namely, the emergence of special education (1852-1926), development and main precursors of special education (1927-1964) and the consolidation and the scientific achievements (1964-1980); all of them will be described, by Chilean researchers on this type of education indicating different publications, such as those by Dr. Luis Bravo Valdivieso. In addition, indicate the important action that has taken after the study period of the National Award in Education, Mabel Condemarín; both Chilean personalities are recognized at the international level.

Abstract: Beniamino Andreatta was an economist who served as a politician at the highest levels of Italy’s government. He was an outsider in academic economics, an eclectic economist interested to the attainment of common good in a perspective inspired by Catholic social doctrine. Andreatta was a supporter of Keynesianism and Post-Keynesianism, but he included some elements of classical and Schumpeterian thought to elaborate his original theory of economic development. On the other hand, he was uncommon in politics because he was quite an independent intellectual, not inclined to easily adhere to what was considered the common view. His contribution to the political debate was based on the knowledge of facts and attention to existing experiences; he brought economic expertise to his political activity. One of Andreatta’s principal merits was the systematic dissemination of scientific knowledge to policymaking. He founded think tanks and promoted worldwide scientific collaborations to apply the economic argumentations to the everyday political activity in Italy because he believed on the necessity of a bold connection between theory and policy. Consequently, he had an uncompromised approach to policymaking that looked to long run objectives. In this perspective, he was the promoter of several orthodox policies, such as the central bank independence reform.
