Abstract: In recent years, as China's economy has gradually shifted to high-quality development, climate policies and sustainable finance have received widespread attention. In the current era of promoting the "dual-carbon" strategy, green finance plays an indispensable role in helping corporates achieve green transformation. However, it has been found that greenwashing behavior by corporates exists to different degrees in the environmental information disclosure of listed companies in China, and the phenomenon of selective disclosure and only talking about environmental performance is particularly prominent. Given that carbon information disclosure has become one of the credit standards for financial institutions to provide loans, this greenwashing behavior may hinder financial institutions from providing green loans and lead to an uneven distribution of credit resources. Based on the data of listed manufacturing companies in China from 2013 to 2022, this paper uses text analysis to measure the "greenwashing" behavior of corporates in terms of carbon information and discusses the impact of such speculation on the availability of bank credit. The study finds that the "greenwashing" behavior of corporates in terms of carbon information can improve the availability of bank credit. Moreover, this credit resource access effect is stronger in non-state-owned corporates, low-value corporates and corporates with high information opacity. However, this paper also confirms that media supervision and regional environmental regulations can mitigate the impact of cleaning on financing. The research results of this paper have policy significance for the sustainable development of corporates.

Abstract: The meaning of words is a reflection of social life and national culture, and the development and changes in social life and national culture will lead to changes in word meanings. The evolution of the meaning of "wife" illustrates this point. In today's society, with the improvement of women's status the old habit of "male superiority and female inferiority" in the family has been changed. "Wives" not only have more saying but even have absolute-making power. A new pattern of "female high and male low" is forming. Based on this, we comprehensively and deeply review the development and changes in meaning of "wife" using methods such as diachronic investigation, aiming to reveal its hidden social and cultural significance. This is greatly beneficial to both understanding word and practical teaching. It can be said that the transformation of word meanings is closely related to social life and national culture. Without the carrier of language symbols, social culture cannot be sustained; similarly, without the content of social culture, language symbols would cease to exist.

Abstract: Currently, the economy of China is demonstrating positive momentum. However, it also faces pressures stemming from structural adjustments and changes in the external environment. Ensuring sustainable development at the corporate level is crucial for maintaining overall economic stability and sustained growth within the nation. This paper utilizes A-share listed companies from 2007 to 2022 as a research sample and employs methods such as text analysis to measure managerial myopia, thereby investigating the relationship between managerial myopia and corporate sustainable development capabilities. The study finds a significant negative correlation between managerial myopia and corporate sustainable development capabilities, with the level of financialization of the corporate playing a mediating role: managerial myopia can lead to an increase in the level of financialization of the corporate, thereby weakening corporate sustainable development capabilities. Furthermore, internal controls and managerial incentive pay weaken the negative relationship between managerial myopia and corporate sustainable development capabilities. This paper also analyzes the degree to which managerial myopia weakens the sustainable development capabilities of enterprises with different property rights and different institutional investor shareholding ratios. It is found the detrimental impact of managerial myopia on the sustainable development capabilities of state-owned enterprises and corporate with lower institutional investor shareholding is more pronounced.
