About This Special Issue
This special edition has the objective of gathering studies that address the process of construction, validation and evidence of validity of scales and tests of psychological, psychiatric and neuropsychological evaluation that contribute to the differential diagnosis of psychiatric and neuropsychological disorders.
Investigating and presenting a diagnosis safely is often a source of insecurity for health professionals. Part of this complaint refers to the lack of research, resources and tools that aid in understanding the symptoms and nosological classification.
For this reason, this special edition proposes to gather manuscripts that present experimental studies of cross-cultural adaptation and validity of the psychological, psychiatric and neuropsychological instruments, case studies that present successful experiences in the use of instruments and bibliographical and systematic reviews that present relevant studies do not fear.
We will select comprehensive studies that present good results for children, adolescents, adults, and the elderly. In addition to selecting scales that present evidence of validity for specific contexts such as people with disabilities and special needs. In addition, the edition will also emphasize the importance of the interface of knowledge, including the work of researchers and professionals in the area of human, health and education.
