About This Special Issue
Sustainable engineering refers to the process of designing or operating systems to sustainably use energy and resources at a rate that does not impair the natural environment or the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Every engineering discipline is committed to sustainable design, and many initiatives have been taken, especially sustainable Site and Locations: an important green element that is often overlooked is precisely where we choose to build. Avoid inappropriate sites, such as farmland, and locate sites near existing infrastructure, such as roads, sewers, rainwater systems and public transport facilities, so that builders can reduce the negative impact on the family environment. Material: Green materials include many different options. In most cases, people think that "green" refers to recyclable materials. Although recycled materials are an option, green materials also include recycled materials, renewable materials (such as bamboo and cork) or local materials. Remember, green materials don't need to cost more or be of lower or higher quality. Most green products are comparable to non-green products. Water Conservation: Water conservation can be achieved by installing low-flow devices, which usually cost the same as inefficient models. As long as suitable plants are selected, water can be saved in the application of landscape greening. Energy saving: In the implementation of cost premium, energy saving is undoubtedly the most intensive. However, it also has the greatest savings potential. By adopting passive design strategy, minimal savings can be achieved without increasing costs.
Aims and Scope:
Special issue of sustainable engineering seeks to publish quality of original research, reviews and development as academic papers as well as short communication on the latest advancements in engineering science and technology. It keenly seeks submission from researchers and academicians researching into sustainable engineering. Special issue is determined to make the leading special issue into regular issue of engineering and sciences. Research articles should report hypothesis-driven surveys to provide new insights into sustainable engineering. Review articles are welcome but must be represented significant new information, which may include disproving the work of others. Submission of original articles, short comment and review should be written in English.
