About This Special Issue
This issue will focus on mental health among infants and young children. This is an emerging topic in the field, as we continue to recognize the importance of mental health across the lifespan, including in the young child population. Topics include prevalence of mental health symptoms in young children, how to diagnose, differential diagnosis, how to effectively work with this population, brain development, parenting, emerging research/ evidence based practices, and ethical issues.
