About This Special Issue
In this special issue, we present various Nonlinear techniques for the control of solar energy capture systems "Photovoltaic Systems", this study of these techniques is done through simulation software.
From the results obtained, we make comparisons to choose the best (the one that protect our system, which offers a better signal "stable signal and less oscillations" and which quickly follow the desired value "the setpoint".
In this work, we present the classification and the nature of the inverter used in PV systems. In addition, inverter control techniques such as hysteresis, wave control, and PWM control. We also examine the results of the coupling simulation of a photovoltaic source on the electricity grid via a 2-level DC-AC converter with an NPC structure.
To improve the control performance of the electrical power injected, three control techniques are used, namely: Analog PI control, Lyapunov theory control and Sliding mode control.
We hope that this work will be an additional step for good use and perfect control of the clean energy “solar energy”.
Aims and Scope:
  1. Good use of solar energy
  2. Protect equipments
  3. Good command of control techniques
  4. Good applications of the theoretical notions
  5. Improve the quality of electrical energy
  6. Improving and generalizing the use of solar energy
