About This Special Issue
Metal powders are used for industrial processes such as thermal spraying and additive manufacturing. The oxidation and nitridation of powders is critical for the industrial use. Hard materials such as carbides and oxynitrides are special materials claiming a huge success in manufacturing of industrial products. Ab initio modelling, crystallography, oxidation of the powder and its effect on manufacturing of product will share crucial knowledge for research.
Aims and Scope:
  1. Modelling of Structures
  2. Oxides
  3. Nitrides and Oxynitrides
  4. Additive Manufacturing
  5. Crystal Structures
  6. Spinel Structures
