About This Special Issue
The special issue invites to present the latest achievements in modelling of road transport emphasising both passive and active safety. The social-economic situation enforces the automotive industry to implement solutions compliant to such a problem. For example, lastly, electric and hybrid cars gained more considerable popularity, which satisfies the global warming issue. Such a relatively new area of studies opens the new research topics and generates the demand to introduce undiscovered yet models. Furthermore, ever-growing tendency to increase the comfort and ergonomics of road transportation requires constant improvement of advanced control algorithms. The models representing the driver's behaviour or response to such aspects as neuromarketing or hazardous scenarios are nowadays one of the vital importance. The dynamics of modes of transport is also an essential feature of the automotive industry. One of the most important parts of it is an analysis of post-crash scenarios. Therefore, the advanced mathematical models of accident reconstruction and recognition of the course of dangerous scenarios are more than welcome in the special issue. In general, the special issue gladly welcomes all researchers who supplement the automotive industry with mathematical models to facilitate the operation, control and inspection of the modes of transportation.
