About This Special Issue
Geophysical exploration data processing is a new technology that outputs various data lists, curves and graphs for geological interpretation by processing and calculating the original data obtained from various geophysical exploration with computer.
Data input and automatic editing input the data collected in the field into the computer. The computer automatically checks all the data point by point according to the pre-arranged checking procedure, and eliminates the undesirable values. It is replaced by some interpolation. At the same time, the observation data and the coordinates of the measuring points are grouped in order to prepare for calculation and mapping.
Geophysics has been used to monitor environmental pollution, predict the changes of ecological environment, and check the effects of environmental control measures. When the environment changes (pollution, fragmentation, extrusion, etc.), the geological body will produce corresponding geophysical effects, which will lead to the changes of various geophysical fields (gravity, electricity, magnetism, heat, seismic wave, radioactivity, etc.). This is the basis for understanding and solving environmental problems by using environmental geophysical observation and research. In the study of environmental geophysics, almost all the current methods of geophysics are used. According to the physical fields studied, they can be divided into electrical method, magnetic method, gravity method, geothermal method, seismic method and radioactivity method.

Aims and Scope:

  1. Geophysical prospecting
  2. Engineering methodology
  3. Software development
  4. Underground obstacle detection
  5. Underground engineering hidden danger detection
  6. Building structural deformation monitoring
