About This Special Issue
Dear Colleagues,
The Lead Guest Editor is inviting submissions to a Special Issue of American Journal of Modern Energy on the subject area of “Integrity, reliability and resilience of modern energy system”. The target of low carbon and safety operation bring energy system more challenges. The trend of energy systems coupling is clear. Based on that, the safety of energy systems is more important and necessary for us to study. For energy systems, they include oil/gas pipeline system, power grid system, water transportation system, wind power system, integrated energy system etc. The research of system integrity, reliability and resilience has built the comprehensive framework for energy system safety.
This Special Issue will deal with novel evaluation, modeling and optimization, together with practical techniques for energy system integrity, reliability and resilience. Topics of interest for publication include, but are not limited to:
  1. Structural/Topology/Operation/Market resilience of energy systems;
  2. Structural/Topology/Operation/Market reliability of energy systems;
  3. Integrity of energy systems;
  4. Application of data-driven and artificial intelligence for integrity, reliability and resilience study;
  5. Assistance of energy system safety policies;
  6. Evaluation, modeling and optimization of energy system safety;
  7. Uncertainty modeling of integrated energy systems.
