Abstract

In translation activities, no matter in translation or interpretation, the expressions of numbers’"plus" and "minus" are inevitable. It is worth of discussing the methods of making the expressions of the numbers’"plus" and "minus" in foreign languages more professional and idiomatic. Based on the Report on the Work of the Government 2019 in the version of French, from the perspective of the part of speech, this article subclassifies these expressions in verbs, nouns, adjectives, adverbs, etc., and carries on the analysis, sorting and summarizing. It hopes for the learners provide some references in translation activities in future.
