Abstract: The results of observations and evaluations of students in 6th grade of Semester I, mathematics learning in 2017/2018 learning year most of the scores are still below the Minimum Completion Criticism of mathematics learning by 70. This is evidenced by the data of 17 students, 8 students or (47.06%) scored above the Minimum Completion Criticism, while 9 students or (52.94%) scored below the Minimum Completion Criticism. Based on this statement, the researcher set a solution to improve mathematics learning outcomes by using the approach of the learning model Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Reflect, and Review (SQ4R). The SQ4R model is a learning model that provides curiosity and can encourage processing in depth and breadth. The formulation of the research problem is how can student learning outcomes on mathematics subjects be improved through the use of learning models (SQ4R)? How do you implement the Survey learning model (SQ4R) can improve mathematics learning outcomes for 6th grade, students of primary school in SD Lab. School FIP-UMJ? The study was conducted in 2 cycles. Each cycle consists of 4 stages. They are planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 17 students. Data collection techniques was used test material techniques. Minimum Completion Criticism score, classical learning completeness is at least 85%, and individual completeness is at least 70. Percentage of completeness in cycle I is 82.35%, and cycle II 88.24%, implementation of SQ4R model can improve Mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract: The quality of the teaching provided is a matter of most importance for any educational system, as well as a goal of any educational policy. According to empirical data, it has been observed that teachers who are satisfied with their profession can successfully support the goals of the education system by responding with greater productivity, quality and consistency to their teaching work. The purpose of the present study is to investigate: a) improving students' understanding of applied sciences; b) whether there is a difference in gender understanding. It was carried out using empirical method and bibliographical references related to the particular research area. The sample of pupils used to observe the changes in understanding concerned a Technical School in the field of Electrical Engineering in the Magnesia region. Its results show that students who approached the Ohm's law module with the STEM method, compared to students who attended the same module with the traditional method, understood the subject better. Students at the end of the intervention participated in a joint written test by the classroom teacher. Upon completion of the intervention, it was also found that the students who attended the course using the STEM method as a whole were very satisfied with the approach. Localized knowledge rejects knowledge patterns based mainly on computational processes and structures consisting of symbol systems that are abstract and arbitrarily mapped to the world. The perspective of cognitive knowledge holds that cognitive behavior is integrated and expanding. An integrated approach to knowledge is valuable when combining both theory and practice. Extended knowledge theories go further, arguing that in some cases the social and physical environment, together with the individuals in it, form the cognitive system together.

Abstract: Due to the rapid development of computer, network and data processing, computational thinking (CT) ability has played an important element for talent cultivation in the era of big data since it came out. As computer foundation course, Data Analysis Courses has a certain degree of fit with computational thinking training. In order to cultivate computational thinking, our team tried to integrate computational thinking into computer basic courses. To begin with, this paper analyzes the convergence of Data Analysis Courses and computational thinking, and puts forward the instructional design of Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) data analysis course from the perspective of computational thinking. Then based on the problem-based learning, the instructional design is carried out from three levels: comprehension and understanding, simple application and comprehensive application. Finally, aiming at improving students’ CT ability, the teaching activities are designed progressively in computational thinking knowledge, CT skills, CT consciousness and CT strategy. Based on the above work, we carried out the Data Analysis course for the development of computational thinking. After a semester of practice, the results demonstrates that the teaching model proposed in this article enhances the students' CT ability significantly, and Data Analysis Courses is of great significance to the cultivation of students' CT.

Abstract: The education evaluation agencies will undertake education evaluation task and will form principal-agent relationships with the governments with the separation reform of supervision, running and evaluation in China. Because of bounded rationality and information asymmetry, it was already a big problem to avoid the moral hazard of an education evaluation agency in a principal-agent relationship involving only one principal and one agent. In reality, the principal-agent relationship is often more complicated. Of particular concern is that the situation of “one principal–multiple agents” in the evaluation of higher education has emerged. The coexistence of “multiple” education evaluation agencies, such as the official agencies, the semi-official agencies, the agencies affiliated with the university, and the third-party agencies, has taken shape. By using critical discourse analysis, this study attempts to argue that avoiding the moral hazard of higher education evaluation under the “multi-agent” mode becomes a research issue that must be squarely addressed. The paper concluded that in “multi-agent” mode, although the possibility of implied moral hazard in higher education evaluation increases, if the “relative performance” evaluation mechanism can be understood and effective measures can be taken, not only will it not lead to the consequences of moral hazard being more difficult to avoid, but it will greatly enhance the effectiveness of the avoidance of moral hazard. The conclusion has important reference significance on how to effectively use the “multi-agent” mode to avoid the moral hazard of higher education evaluation.

Abstract: The revival and development of values education in the world has become a hot topic in the field of education development in the new century. With the increasing demands of the government and people from all walks of life on the values education, the research on values education has begun to increase in the international academic circles. This paper tries to adopt the method of knowledge mapping, select the literature on “values education” in the SSCI database from 2009 to 2018 as the analysis object, and use CiteSpace software to analyze values education. The paper finds that the number of publications on international values education is increasing year by year, forming a core research field focused on pedagogy, psychology and sociology. The mainstream authors on international values education research are Simon Marginson, Pierre Bourdieu, John Dewey, Albert Bandura, etc. In recent ten years, the hot topics on international values education research mainly focus on six themes. Teacher education, physical education, personal values, choosing the caring setting, digital storytelling and professional identity, and teacher education has become the most popular research topic.

Hence at the beginning of this research in the framework of the Excellency model, 37 management modules in an organization that can be used with different ways based on the experiences of implementation in the 17th district municipality of Tehran, The researcher carefully arranged each of them into the criteria of the model to develop a researcher mind made framework. Then, validated statistical tests such as factor analysis, multiple regression and correlation test were used to evaluate the model. Finally, the validity of this abstract management framework was confirmed after analyzing the data in Table 2. In order to prove the hypothesis that besides the HR model, an innovative framework of management systems and processes for the organization can be illustrated in the strategic road map.

Research on Effective Teaching Methods for English-medium Instruction Computer Networking Course

Abstract: Chinese universities have been strongly supported by government to promote English-Medium Instruction (EMI) in the past two decades. While EMI is not simply translating lecture contents into English, the teaching methods should be adjusted accordingly. This study aims at seeking effective EMI teaching methods for engineering courses, taking the case of Computer Networking course in Shanghai Maritime University. Several computer-aided teaching methods have been practised, including interactive teaching with Rain Classroom, class demonstration with Wireshark and Packet Tracer, video review, online teaching resources, and hands-on projects. Based on our teaching experience, a 3-step interactive teaching routine was set up and practiced. The comparing result of three consecutive years’ final exam scores and labs scores show an overall improvement of the students’ learning outcomes. An online questionnaire was designed to investigate the students’ opinions on teaching contents and methods. The collected survey results and feedbacks show that most of the students approve of our EMI teaching methods. But there are up to 27.5% students who still consider EMI academic course is difficult. The cross comparative result of the online students’ survey reveals that the students’ previous EMI experience greatly affects their perceived level of difficulty. It should be very helpful to offer an introductory EMI course or an ESP (English for Special Purpose) course for the engineering freshmen to prepare them for the follow-up EMI academic courses.

Abstract: The college entrance examination proposition management system is facing a new round of reorganization and adjustment. The switch between national proposition and provincial proposition reflects the game between national interests and local interests, and becomes a beneficial attempt and exploration to resolve the risk of college entrance examination. However, before the differences in enrollment quota allocation patterns have not been eliminated, the point of equality between national propositions and provincial propositions is not in the propositional system itself. The proposition of the college entrance examination directly affects the allocation, development and cultivation of basic education resources and further influences the development potential of regional basic education and ultimately the fairness of basic education. Therefore, the fairness of basic education is a subject that can not be circumvented by national propositions and provincial propositions. Abstract: The research was conducted to explore the correlation between TOEFL anxiety and TOEFL test performances among University students. This study was applied quantitative and using cross sectional approach. The population of this study was entirely students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Kalimantan Timur (UMKT). The data was taken from the last year student of UMKT who joined TOEFL Test as their graduation requirement. The test was specified in aspect of their English Proficiency (TEP). To gain the sample, the researcher used stratified sampling. The total of last year student was 583 students. Sampling was measured by using Slovin Formula by using 0.05 margin of error. The univariate and bivariate analyzes was conducted in this study. It was gained from the demographic data which contained age and gender. The result indicated that the low result of HARS has high score of TOEFL otherwise the high result of HARS raised low score of TOEFL using two tailed correlation. In other hand, there was a correlation among anxiety and total score of TOEFL. The result indicated that the correlation between anxiety by using HARS and total TOEFL score were had high correlation coefficient among it. It was gained.749.

Abstract: The rapid development of educational informationization has put forward new requirements for teaching mode. Blended teaching under the background of information technology has become the focus of higher education teaching reform, and the research on the influencing factors of the implementation effect of blended teaching has attracted more and more researchers ‘attention. This study aims to investigate students’ views on the effect of blended teaching from the perspective of college students who once participated in blended teaching activities. This paper conducts a theoretical study on the influencing factors of blended teaching, and conducts an empirical study on the influencing factors of blended teaching effect by means of questionnaires. The results show that personal interests and attitudes and curriculum design are the main factors affecting the effectiveness of blended teaching. Moreover, teachers' professional image, curriculum design and Teaching Platform Functions all have a significant impact on students' interest and attitude in participating in blended teaching. Finally, this paper puts forward some suggestions to strengthen the "student-centered" teaching consciousness, optimize the "student-centered" teaching design, attach importance to the improvement of teachers' professional image, and select a suitable blended teaching platform.

Abstract: Students` academic problem in the achievement of mathematics education prevails persistently in Agarfa secondary schools. Performance in Mathematics by students has been lower in comparative to other science subjects. This study aimed to investigate the factors contributing to the low achievement of Mathematics by students. The study was to determine to what extent students’ factors, parent factors, Mathematics teachers’ factors and school factors and management factors affect students’ Mathematics achievement and to establish the strategies that can be adopted to improve students’ achievement in Mathematics. Descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. The study was carried out on 221 students, 9 Mathematics teachers’, 5 principals and vice- principals of the school. Respondent students were selected with random probability sampling techniques. Questionnaires’, class observation and document analysis were employed for data collection. Data collected from the respondents were coded and entered in to the computer for analysis using SPSS version-20 for windows. The multiple linear regression result and descriptive statistics were applied for data analysis. Findings reveal that student’ factors, students’ parent factors, Mathematics teachers’ factors, school factors and management factors were the factors that affects students’ achievement in Mathematics. Students’, Mathematics teachers’, school administrators, parents and District Education office expected to benefit from the findings. Therefore, it was suggested that teachers, parents, school administrators, supervisors, communities and other stakeholders should be cooperatively more practical in this area of improvement.

Abstract: Inclusion is an ideal: Belonging to the educations system is not a question. The children with disabilities are all part of a group, of a class, a school and of a community. This idea is great, but it needs to be grounded. Before describing in concrete terms which possibilities open up inclusive practices, the negative must be taken in account. The negative is intrusive: for the claim - to "integrate" everyone - can fail at certain moments. The idea of promoting and not "selecting" ends with a disturbing insight that affects a certain group: children with emotional and social developmental disorders. An interesting but difficult group, if we allow ourselves a few cliché-like exaggerations. A group that will be described in the following. The following article therefore covers a very wide range of objects. First, it aims to recall the foundations of inclusive theory; in this respect, it primarily aims at social-theoretical idealizations for which there is no exact equivalent in reality. First of all, abstract norms and values are at stake, ideals that always receive a resonance in pedagogical reality. But this resonance is not a measurable effect that can be exactly reproduced with the means of empirical social research. On the other hand it is a question of a group of people who may not be able to correspond to the described ideal: Children and adolescents with social and emotional developmental disorders. This group is trivially a factual component of a larger social group. But to what extent their integration and promotion is feasible within an inclusive framework would be questionable. Accordingly, the methodology must remain related to phenomenological perspectives. For it is not just a question of asking who may be a victim of exclusion, who is successfully integrated into a system and who is excluded. Rather, it is about the social-theoretical consequences of an irreversible tension: between a reality in which educational subjects do not correspond to the expectations, in which children are "sorted" and "classified" - and a theory that would have to draw conclusions from this situation. The aim of the following considerations would therefore be to start from the perspective of those subjects that we describe as inferior and marginalized, and to what extent observing the preconditions of this group should be a constitutive (and hitherto overlooked) component of the theory of inclusion.

Abstract: Errors are inevitable by-products of learning. Resource utilization of errors was to turn this raw material into the education resource. We transformed them by the observation, analysis, discussion, exploration and some other activities among teachers and students. However, according to the current papers concerning this field, we did have many problems. This essay gathered big data of 2228 students who took simulative biology exam in the New College Entrance Examination in March 2017, organized by Ningbo Education Bureau. This essay try to accurately analyze, classify and locate all kinds of errors made by students, and put forward relevant methods and strategies dealing with different types of errors. Mainly analyzing the scores and typical errors, this essay divided the common errors students made in biology exam into three types: reviewing errors, knowledge errors and thinking errors. And the knowledge errors were divided into conceptual errors, applicatory errors and inquiry errors. Aiming at these three error types as well as group errors, this essay put forward relevant solutions. Teachers should judge, screen, sort out and refine these errors tactfully, and make efforts to design targeted and tailored solutions. Students may make a variety of mistakes of diverse types or natures; therefore, teachers should deal with them with different priorities and methods.

Abstract: Over the past three decades, many universities in China provide students with the Second Major program, aiming at cultivating interdisciplinary talents and meeting the undergraduates’ increasing demands for a wide variety of knowledge. In general, the Admissions Committee often attaches importance to the applicants’ previous academic records rather than their willingness to study during the process of selection, which tends to result in the adverse selection problem. Besides, as the Second Major education system fails to incorporate an appropriate incentive compatible mechanism, many enrolled students with low level of learning initiative would be prone to moral hazard problems, such as truancy, chronic absence and poor performance in class. In order to solve the above two kinds of problems and improve the quality of education, we first propose a novel pricing strategy bundling tuition fees and course quantities based on the principal-agent theory, which is designed to mitigate the adverse selection problem by identifying applicants’ private information (the level of their willingness to study) and enable the Admissions Committee to select those applicants with both strong academic ability and high learning willingness. Then we set up the incentive models for the full and limited liability scholarship systems respectively to address the moral hazard problems, and find that the infeasible full liability scholarship system can simultaneously optimize the utility of all participants, while the feasible limited liability scholarship system would only bring about the sub-optimal results.

Abstract: Motivation plays a significant role in second language acquisition and teaching. Though it has been studied for decades both by practitioners and researchers, the author still finds that the major research centers on studying motivation of learning and acquiring the language, particularly, the English; while ignoring another opposite perspective: demotivation of language learning. Based on the literature review, the investigation on demotivation factors started very late both at home and abroad in academia thus producing few achievements so far. Due to this research gap, the writer thinks that the study on demotivation of L2 learning and acquisition should be expanded further. Therefore, this paper explores the demotivation factors on learning English among students from vocational education sector by interviewing nine participants from a higher vocational college in Suzhou Industrial Park, Suzhou City, Jiangsu Province in the People’s Republic of China. Through analyzing their responses and learning situations via questionnaires and semi-structured interviews, the author concludes that teachers’ factors on learners’ demotivation are decreasing while issues including lack of learning strategies, lower learning aptitude, previous unpleasant learning experience, and out-of-dated textbooks are turning to be the main causes for students’ demotivation in learning English in the context of higher vocational education. At last, the writer proposes some coping strategies for teaching practice, such as building up students’ self-confidence and innovating the current textbook, etc. Moreover, the relevant studies in various contexts should be conducted in the future for enriching the existing literature and giving inspiration to teaching practitioners.

Abstract: Background With the increasing scale of the enrollment of the graduate students, the mental health problems of the postgraduates is becoming more and more prominent. The traditional method of mental health education does not seem to meet the needs of the mental health education in the new media age. Mental health workers in colleges and universities need to explore new ways to transform the challenges brought by the new media era into opportunities. Methods The paper studies the opportunity and challenge brought by the arrival of WeChat in the post-graduate mental health education through the literature analysis. Results The results indicated that (1) The lack of the system of post-graduate mental health education; (2) the relative lagging of the related research of the post-graduate mental health education; (3) the research tools and methods of the post-graduate mental health education are single. Conclusion (1) The popularization of WeChat in the postgraduates, the extension of the function of WeChat and the strengthening of the internationalization level have made WeChat a new way of education for educators. (2) To carry out the post-graduate mental health education, should adapt to this trend as soon as possible, make use of the function of WeChat as soon as possible, and continuously explore the innovative methods of effective postgraduate mental health education, including the use of the function of WeChat, and improve the "micro" of the mental health educators. By using the micro-mail public platform, the mental health knowledge is regularly pushed, and the hierarchical network of the WeChat mental health education is constructed.

Abstract: Mobile-learning is not limited by time and place, it has a lot of advantages compared with traditional learning methods, so it has become a hot spot of education model reform. Teachers are also trying and researching on mobile-learning assisted instruction. However, the current research on mobile-learning mainly focuses on the students' users. In contrast, the behavior habits and use intentions of teachers' assisted instruction are very different, and teachers have a great impact on the use intentions of students' mobile-learning. In this study, through combing the theoretical literature of mobile-learning influencing factors, we use TAM model to build a mobile-learning influencing factor model, and put forward the corresponding research hypothesis. On the basis of this model, a questionnaire about the influencing factors of mobile-learning for university teachers is designed. The relevant data obtained from the questionnaire are analyzed by SPSS and Amos data analysis software. Through the analysis, it is concluded that perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, resource optimization, future teaching tendency and social impact all have an impact on teachers' willingness to use mobile-learning, and relevant suggestions are putted forward.
