On Appreciating Lakes and Ponds: Thoreau’s Walden

Abstract: This paper attempts to supply an aesthetic approach to interpreting lake writing. Based on the studies of the philosophical and aesthetic connotations of lakes and ponds, the paper explores the sequence of Thoreau’s aesthetic experience at the Walden through close-in reading of some pieces of lake writing in Walden, which is probably concerned with the “seeing” modes of the reflection of Mirrors and Youguan. This paper arrives at a conclusion that the adoption of such aesthetic modes may help to further the comprehension of Walden while give some implications for the interpretation of other nature writings.

Abstract: In a different era will produce different qualities of literature. Therefore, “Tang Dynasty's Legendary” and “Song Dynasty's Legendary” have different literature. Include “Writers identity level”, “The story is fictional or historical”, “Purpose of creation”, and “Style is elegant or vulgar language”. “Tang Dynasty's Legendary” pay attention Artistic Conception, Imagination and Urbane. “Song Dynasty's Legendary” pay attention Rationality, Historic and Vulgar. “Song Dynasty's Legendary” is not high evaluation. But in the process of development novels has an important position. This article focuses on the love story of “Tang xuan-zong” and “Yang Gui-Fei”. Subject of the present paper is Chen-Hong's “Chang-Hen-Ge”, Yue-Shih's “Yang-Tai-Zhen Legend”, and Cin-Chun's “Li-Shan-Ji”. On the one hand summed up the purpose and meaning of writing “Song Dynasty's Legendary”. On the other hand re-examine the value and status in the “Song Dynasty's Legendary”.

Abstract: Since China’s exchange rate regime reformed, the appreciation of the RMB has continued which will have an influence on the export trade of Jiangxi province. This paper aims to analyze the influence of fluctuations in exchange on the export trade of Jiangxi province, using the annual data of exports and GDP in Jiangxi province and the RMB exchange rate from 1994 to 2014 by the mothods of stationarity, cointegration and Granger causality test. And the result shows that with the appreciation of the RMB, the exports of Jiangxi province will increase.

Abstract: Voice behavior refers to that employee to express their views, opinions and information related to their work. Many researches show that voice behavior has significant importance on the prevention of decision-making mistakes and the improvement of organizational effectiveness. Based on the survey of 216 employees, the paper explores the influence and mechanisms of LMX and two forms of voice behavior. The results show that LMX has significant positive impacts on both promotive and prohibitive voice behavior. And psychological empowerment partially mediates the relation between LMX and two forms of voice behaviors.

Abstract: Commercial Banks in the modern society, has the core status. Under today's social environment, interest rate marketization has become the choice of most countries. Commercial Banks also face new risks in this context--interest rate risk. The common risk has become the problem that the development of the commercial Banks and even the entire financial development must face. In this paper, I use the method of empirical analysis eviews software to quantitative analyze the interest rate risk of commercial Banks in China. The results show that under the contemporary background, the bank’s overall interest rate risk is high and some problems such as some banks’ lacking ability to resist risk. For such a situation, banks should put forward to strengthen supervision, enhance the consciousness of the interest rate risk management, improve the pricing system and the introduction of international advanced interest rate risk management, improve the interest rate risk management talent introduction and cultivation mode.

Abstract: In 1996, The People's Bank of China (PBOC) established a national treasury bonds market and inter-bank lending market, marking that the official start of China’s interest rateliberalization. After 20 years of orderly developing, reform has entered the key stage. In October 23, 2015, the PBOC announced that it would no longer set the floating ceiling of deposit rate to commercial banks and rural cooperative financial institutions. Release the control of interest rate means that the entire banking industry will fall into a more intense competition, and the traditional mode of operation will suffer from more threats and challenges. Especially in China's small and mediumsized commercial banks, compared to the large state-owned banks, the capital accumulation is relatively weak, more limited business development, limited customer resources, lack of brand effect, so it is bound to face more difficulties.In empirical research, the article selects 11 listed small and mediumsized banks as the research samples, using panel data model to analyze how the interest rate liberalization impact the profitability of these selected banks. Finally, combining with analysis results, the article proposes some measures to increasing the profit space of small and mediumsized commercial banks under the process of interest rate liberalization.

Abstract: Chinese mainland tourists are important to tourism industry in Taiwan. The study objective is to analyze the marketing effects on satisfaction of Chinese tourists in the Souvenir Avenue at Taoyuan international airport. Research framework was based on the European EPSI rating system and SERVQUAL service factors. The multiple regression model was used to evaluate the six hypotheses of antecedent effects. The results showed that some hypotheses were supported. Avenue image and product quality were not significant antecedents. Tourists’ expections had significant effect on their perceived value and satisfaction. Tourists’ perceived value had significant effect on their satisfaction evaluation. The satisfaction level was an significant antecedent factor of tourists’ purchase loyalty. Some perceived SERVQUAL factors were important antecedents of perceived value and satisfaction in the survey.
